At Fortress Financial we do things differently. Many companies claim to save you money while tacking on thousands of dollars in junk fees. That's just not our style. In our opinion charging $50-$100 every time we stamp, read or move a piece of paper is dishonest and should be illegal. Junk fees are a form of legalized greed, designed to take advantage of people who are in the exploitable position of needing the services of a licensed professional, yet being typically uninformed of what is standard practice.

At Fortress Financial, we never add unnecessary charges to our services and work diligently to ensure the companies we work with (title and escrow) don't charge them either. In fact, we are so opposed to these "greed fees" that when we review your paperwork with you, we go out of our way to point out the typical junk fees other companies charge so that you can avoid them in the future.
